We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Deputy Manger

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established nursery setting in a new position of an Assistant Deputy Manager.

You will work alongside the Manager and Deputy Manger to support the staff team and aid there development through coaching and mentoring.

You will be room based and will have allocated time out to support the Senior Management team and carry out duties such as:

  • Opening and closing the nursery
  • Conducting show rounds
  • Dealing with parent queries
  • Sitting on interviews
  • Completing the nursery’s assessment tracking
  • Conducting new staff inductions
  • Delivering staff training workshops
  • Carrying out staff observations

You must have an Early Years Qualification of at least level 3 and have experience of being part of a senior management team for a minimum of 2 years.

You must be highly organised, able to work on your own initiative and be professional yet approachable. You must have sound knowledge of the EYFS, child development and SEND and be able to demonstrate this through practice.

You must be computer literate and have a grade C English GCSE or above.

Successful candidates will need to provide “Right to Work in the UK” documents, be on the DBS Update Service and provide two satisfactory reference prior to commencing employment.
